This world is full of SELFISHNESS. Self esteem, self love, self help, self justification, self gratification, self care, selfies, self image, self talk, self growth, self improvement, self awareness, self worth… all SELF-ISH!!!
If you want to know more about yourself, ask God – not man. After all, God is the creator of your body and your mind. Why would you ask man? Why are you not denying yourself? Jesus said to deny yourself, pick up your cross, and follow Him.
Less of you. More of Him. So, why are you trying to hard to esteem and glorify yourself? Why are you spending so much time and effort trying to figure yourself out and not figure God out! What is His perfect will?
No one is good, not one. No one is worthy of esteem, glory, worship – except God. Love the Lord Your God with all your heart, mind, and soul. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be, so store up for yourselves treasures in heaven.
If you are into self help, self improvement, self mapping, self talk, self esteem – get out! Stop. If you know someone who is, I encourage you to lovingly come to them with the knowledge of Jesus Christ to stop.
