weather witch sorcery

This is a question that most have not considered:  Is checking the weather forecast a form of sorcery?  Is listening to the weatherman the same as consulting with a wizard or sorcerer?  Are you seeking predictions from a weather witch?  This is something most people do all the time without thinking twice about it.  A person rarely makes plans without first checking the weather, such as what day to cut your grass or go to the water park.  We must know what day it’s going to rain or be sunny, right?  I started to dig into this and what I found might surprise you.

First, in case you are not familiar with how much the Lord despises witchcraft/sorcery, let’s take a look at some Scripture:

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Leviticus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.

Galatians 5:19-21

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

2 Chronicles 33:6 And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.

Micah 5:11-13

11 And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds:

12 And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:

13 Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.

Deuteronomy 18:14 For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.

Exodus 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

1 Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft

As children of the Most High God, we can safely say we are NOT to practice any type of witchcraft, nor are we to hearken unto them in any way, shape, or form.  He clearly has labeled those who practice witchcraft as rebellious to His Word and as liars.  It’s interesting that almost everyone makes the joke, but not joke, that the weatherman is a liar.  The weatherman also gives you a forecast.  First, “fore” meaning a foretelling of events, which we are not to partake in and second, a “cast” – He’s either just casting a guess out there and really is a liar or he’s casting a spell, maybe even telling of a spell that that was cast to determined the weather for the following day or week. He may have consulted with a deity who gave him this foreknowledge, either through personal divination or through a possessed machine.  Who did the weatherman get the information from?  Wouldn’t we like to know.

If you do some thorough research, you will find that there truly is such a dark craft as “weather witching” or “weather magic”.  The terms can means anything from a weather witch who forecasts the weather to actual weather manipulation.  This practice dates back hundreds of years when some folks thought that having a witch around to help them sail the seas by whistling up breezes or to help them grow their crops by producing rain was a good thing.

To this day, we make a big fuss out of a groundhog predicting the weather every single year, which is nothing but superstition and old wives tales.

1 Timothy 4:7 But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

Groundhog Day actually coincides with a manmade “Catholic Holiday” called Candlemas celebrating the purification of Mary 40 days after the birth of Jesus (pagan Christmas Day) at the Temple.  This celebration is called The Feast of the Presentation of The Lord, Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the Festival of Lights.  February 2nd is also the same day as Imbolc which is the Celtic celebration of the rebirth of the sun, beginning of spring, fertility, and beginning of the agricultural year.  Imbolc is worship of the triple goddess Brighid (pronounced BREED) after giving birth to “the god”.  Her feast day is a purification and light festival honoring her maiden or feminine aspect.  I am sure you would agree that Candlemas and Imbolc sound the same and both are nothing more than goddess/mother-son worship. We’ve talked about that in a previous blog post.  One of the symbols attributed to Brighid is the serpent (big surprise!) reemerging from hibernation, similar to the kundalini beliefs from the east.

Isaiah 2:6 Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers

The sun rises in the east. That pretty much says it all right there.

Remember that movie, The Witches of Eastwick?  Japan, in the east, has a rising sun flag.

Brighid and “the god”, Isis and Horus, Semiramus and Tammuz, it’s all the same Mother-Child worship – including the worship of Mary and Jesus together.  I’m not sorry if that sounds offensive to anyone because it is the truth.  And, when do “they” have Christians performing this worship the most?  Christmastime – celebrating the birth of the son and worshiping the mother-child.  But, that’s not Jesus’ Birthday!  It’s the birthday of the sun god.  40 days later his mother is purified on Groundhog Day or the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary day or Imbolc.  Nowhere in the bible does it ever say to celebrate Jesus’ birthday, nor do we read anywhere of the apostles doing it while with Jesus or after Jesus’ ascension.  It’s idolatry and worship of the goddess.  Some may even think they are worshiping Mary, which they are NOT supposed to do as YHWH instructs us to worship him alone, but they are not.  They are secretly, as slimy creatures, tricking you into worshiping the goddess and sun god, and even on Sun-Day.

Isaiah 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Micah 5:12 And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

We can even take a look at the Old Farmers Almanac and The Farmers Almanac, both of which keep the roots of their foreknowledge a hidden secret.  Secret societies, secret religions, secret knowledge – it’s all dark and up to no good.

Psalm 64:2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:

Ephesians 5:11-13

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

How do we know that their secret knowledge of weather prediction is rooted in darkness – you know, besides all the verses we just mentioned above commanding us not to sort with wizards, witches, diviners, sorcerers, and the like.  It boils down to this:  The art of weather witchcraft involves calling upon the elements, the elemental spirits.  What do we know about the elemental spirits that witches call upon to provide forecasts and to manipulate the weather?

In a, what we would call “very bad”, book called The Testament of Solomon, the elemental spirits appear to Solomon as a group of seven female spirits, who declare themselves to be of the 36 elements of the cosmic ruler of the darkness, corresponding to the Pleiades.  The constellation Pleiades is these seven demon sisters.  Ever hear how a witch needs to be the seventh sister of a seventh sister?  That’s where that folklore comes from. According to Britannica.com, in Greek mythology, the Pleiades are the seven daughters of the Titan Atlas and the Oceanid Pleione:  Maia, Electra, Taygete, Celaeno, Alcyone, Sterope, and Merope.  They either all killed themselves over the grief of the death of their sisters, the Hyades or they were made a constellation by Zeus after being pursued by Orion, a Boeotian giant, who now chases them across the night sky. In either case, they are deities representing the elements.

Does the Bible mention them?  Some scholars say, “Yes!”  The elemental spirits are said to be mentioned as the Greek word “stoicheia”.  They are mentioned in Colossians 2:8 and 2:20 as principals of this world.  They are also mentioned in Galatians 4:3 and 4:9.  Let’s take a look at these verses.

But first, since the Pleiades mentioned to Solomon the cosmic ruler of darkness and the Bible uses the terms principals, let’s make mention of this passage in scripture:

Ephesians 6

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

These elemental spirits are something Our Father says we actually fight against.

Now, let’s take a look at the passages where the stoicheia, or elemental spirits, are specifically mentioned:

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Here, it’s the “rudiments of the world” that we are to be concerned about as they are a deception.  In the Strong’s, it reads “spiritual forces of the world” (stoicheia) meaning orderly in arrangement in the feminine form from the cosmos.  This ties right in with the female constellation of the Pleiades.  The exact same term “rudiments of the world” is used in Colossians 2:20:

Colossians 2:20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances.

In Galatians 4:3, We actually get the term “elements of the world” (stoicheia) and they are said to keep us in bondage.

Galatians 4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

They are also read as “elements” (stoicheia) in Galatians 4:9 that keep us in bondage.  They are also assigned the description of being weak, worthless, and spiritually poor.

Galatians 4:9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

Paul is asking the Galatians how in the world after knowing God, can they go back to worshiping the Pleiades, again, who are weak and worthless and keeping them in bondage, enslaving them to sin.

It’s pretty clear who these elemental spirits are and that YHWH wants us to have no part in them.  In fact, the historical accounts and oral traditions of witchcraft state that witches have ALWAYS been involved in weather magic – conjuring weather, forecasting weather, controlling weather, and manipulating weather.

In goddess worship, we see elemental cross symbols and the worship of Gaia as “mother earth”.  She was born of chaos and is the primordial void, the mother of all life – the titans, the giants, the sea, and the sea gods.  She is known as Terra to the Romans.

Genesis 1:2  And the earth was without form, and void;

“without form” is Chaos and “void” is Gaia.

Genesis 1:2 “and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”

Then, The Lord put those dragons, the darkness, and the sea in its place, as He is creator of all things.  They are held until the time He deems fit and, in the end, the sea is no more.

Isaiah 27:1 In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

The words “Void” and “Worthless” are synonyms.  Gaia is the void.  Void is the same as worthless.  Remember Galatians?

Galatians 4:9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

The Strong’s Lexicon reads “beggarly” as “worthless”.  YHWH is the Most High God.  He is in control of everything.  There is nothing He is not in control of.  Nothing happens without Him allowing it to happen.

Psalm 107:28 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.  He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

Mark 4:35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. 36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. 37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. 38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? 39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

Jesus walked on the sea, too.  He completely demonstrated His authority over the sea and all in it.  He was making a statement to the sea, the sea dragons, and all those who worship the sea gods.

1 Kings 17 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

The Lord calms the storms and the wind.  The Lord moves mountains. YHWH stops the rain, brings the rain, and makes the sun stand still.  He creates life.  He created the flowers.  He rained down hail and fire and brimstone.  He parted the sea.

1 Kings 18:43  And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing.

Look toward the sea – There is Nothing.  Void.  The worship of these elements is worthless because it is YHWH who controls and is creator of all.  He is the creator of these elemental spirits as well.  Creator of all.

Have you ever tried to manipulate the weather?  You might readily say, “No!”  However, as a child, did you ever sing this nursery rhyme:

Rain, rain, go away

Come again some other day

Little Johnny wants to play.

If you have ever sung, “Rain, Rain, Go Away”, you just may have been using the power of a magical song to manipulate the weather.  The evil world we live in tricks us into doing a lot of things which are completely unbiblical, but once we discover them, we come out of them.

Now that we know what these elemental spirits are, let’s take a look at some early meteorologists.  This could actually end up being an entire book of its own, but we briefly want to demonstrate the occult background of today’s meteorology. Straight from a document available online from the UK government’s National Meteorological Library and Archive titled Meteorology: From Sorcery to Supercomputers, we not only get confirmation from a government source that meteorology stems from sorcery, but we also are provided the names of several early meteorologists.

Aristotle – credited with coining the term “meteorology”, wrote books on meteorology which doctrines have been influencial in alchemy. His writings have guided modern occult magic.

Albertus Magnus – known for a text called “De Negotti Naturali” (On Natural Business) which the Library and Archive mentioned above describes as an “illuminated manuscript”.  Wikipedia says he “He digested, interpreted, and systematized the whole of Aristotle’s works”.  He was also involved in alchemy, astronomy, and magic with a belief that stones has occult properties. Legend says he discovered the philosopher’s stone.

Shepherd of Banbury – Wrote “The Shepherd of Banbury’s Rules to Judge of the Changes of the Weather” which is a book on 40 years of weather observations and includes “weather lore” dated to 1670.  One such weather lore the Library and Archive accredit the Shepherd of Banbury to, stating his book has one of the first if not the very first version, is Red sky at night, sailors’ delight. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning.” However, we can find this very weather lore prediction in The Word.

Matthew 16

The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.

He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.

And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

Thomas Digges – In Prognostication Everlasting of Right Good Effect written in 1605, he discusses how the planets and constellation alignments bring about changes in weather.  This is a revision of his father’s work, Leonard Digges, which included forecasts and formulas for calculating the planetary alignments any time of the year.  He was versed in astrology and claimed to truly know “the art” and the “exacte truth of things”. In times of old, the “planets” (heavenly deities) were given sacrifice so as not to bring about catastrophe upon the Earth.  It’s well known this happened in times past with Venus (the morning star) and Mars (Ares the god of war) as well as with the Pleiades. It just so happens that Thomas Digges was taken under the wing of none other than John Dee (infamous occult alchemist, astrologer, and astronomer) after his father’s death.  John Dee is credited with the vision to establish new colonies in the New World (USA), to build the New Atlantis. Dee was versed in the supernatural, Enochian magick, sorcery, and Hermetic philosophy conjuring fallen angels so as to learn the secrets of the universe.

Richard Inward – Author of Richard Inward’s Weather Lore, a book mostly noting animal behavior to predict weather patterns.  He also authored The Temple of the Andes, where he discusses megaliths in Peru and the worship of the planet Venus and the sun.

Meteorology: From Sorcery to Supercomputers goes on to name Bacon, Boyle and Hooke as forefathers of modern meteorology.

Francis Bacon – Another philosopher with deep connections to the Rosicrucians and Freemansons and who played a significant role in establishing the New Atlantis in America.  He penned “The Natural and Experimental History of Winds” as well as “New Atlantis”. He is rumored to have drawn his scientific methods from magic and some believe he is the true William Shakespeare and Saint Germain.

Robert Hooke – Well known scientist, physicist, astronomer, and philosopher who had interests in geometry and magic.  Adversary to Sir Isaac Newton.  Close friend to Christopher Wren who, according to Wikipedia, “Since at least the 18th century, the Lodge of Antiquity No. 2, one of the four founding Masonic Lodges of the Premier Grand Lodge of England in 1717, has claimed Christopher Wren to have been its Master at the Goose and Gridiron at St. Paul’s churchyard.”

Robert Boyle – Self proclaimed Christian interested in miracles and natural philosopher who studied magic, including the foretelling of future events. He is a forefather of modern chemistry and was a fan of Galileo and Copernicus.  He had his hand in alchemy attempting to find the Philosophers Stone.  He had the gospel translated into several languages for distribution.  His friend Robert Hooke built his air pump and the two performed a number of scientific experiments regarding air.  He lived during the era of witches, witch hunts,  and the banning of the pagan celebration of Christmas by Parliament.

Luke Howard – Known as the father of meteorology.  He was a pharmacist by trade and amateur meteorologist.  He is known for naming the clouds.  Luke Howard was a Quaker and belonged to a philosophical group called the Askesian Society.

Admiral Sir Francis Beaufort – A member of the Royal Navy who kept numerous weather diaries and designed the Beaufort Scale of measuring the wind.  He also is known for inventing a cipher known as the Beaufort cipher, another variation of the Vigenere cipher (In layman’s terms – a secret code). Protegee to Robert FitzRoy, commander of the first Meteorological Office in Britain and inventor of storm warning systems.  FitzRoy produced the first ever public weather forecast.

These are the front runners of meteorology. I am sure you recognize some of the many names on this list. Many of them famed for studying secret knowledge, philosophy, alchemy, and witchcraft. Reminds me of Colossians, again.

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

How spoiled are we by the “traditions of men” and “elements of the world” getting our weekly weather forecast in advance, knowing which day to cut grass and which day to spend outside!

It’s a fact that forecasting the weather was outlawed as a form of sorcery by King Henry VII.  He viewed the foretelling of weather as a form of magic and fortune tellingThe witchcraft acts of 1604 and 1735 agreed with the view of King Henry VII, banning weather forecasting.  The acts were not fully repealed until 1951.

I would have to agree with King Henry VII on this matter.  With regard to the research I just performed on this topic which includes the occult background of weather forecasting as well as YHWH forbidding witchcraft and consorting with fortune tellers, it’s clear that consulting with the weatherman for this week’s weather forecast is undoubtedly strictly forbidden.  Although we now obtain our weather forecasting knowledge from supercomputers, it’s still forecasting and it’s still rooted in witchcraft.  Who knows who or what could be inhabiting those machines.
