This song about healing turned out to mean more than I thought it originally did. I thought it was just about healing.

This is a poem I wrote for those times when you don’t feel the presence of the LORD. You miss Him soooo much. You feel like a lost child when you cannot feel Him around. But, be rest assured, He is always working!

I wrote this song thinking about how we are to never quench The Spirit and always keep our lights burning.

The words just started pouring into my head. I reached over and grabbed my phone, which was on the nightstand next to the bed, opened a “Keep” App on my phone where I can type notes and started writing down all the words as they came to me. Had it all in a few minutes of texting it all down on my phone as it poured in. I knew the words. I knew the melody. I can hear the music in the background, the instruments, the tempo, the beats.
