bless those who curse you

Jesus told us to bless those who curse you.  Easier said than done, right?  How often someone is mean to us or hurts our feelings and we just want to lash out.  But, our words have an affect in the spiritual realm.  For this reason, we are to maintain proper conduct as sons and daughters of The Most High God, The King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords.

We are all God’s children. Even the wicked and unbelieving children of disobedience. The sun shines on their heads every day. The rain falls, crops grow, blessings may come, to the just and unjust. Because He wishes for none to perish. Because He is Our Father. How do you treat your disobedient children? Sometimes harshly (He chastises those He loves). Sometimes kicking them out of the house ( We got kicked out of the garden). Sometimes with compassion and understanding (He sings songs of deliverance over us).

God deals with His enemies. But, we are to hate wickedness and we are to tear down every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We pray for those humans who are bound in fetters. We bind up the demons coming against them, keeping them in bondage and in blindness. We keep ourselves clean with clean thoughts and clean actions, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.
By this, the world knows we are Children of God, not children of disobedience, children of wrath. …When we love one another in the faith with brotherly love, when we love our families and honor God’s family structure, when we love the Lord and keep His commandments, when we reach out to the dead world to pull them out of the fire.

We need to avoid murder with our thoughts and words. Speak life over people. Our words have an affect in the spiritual realm.  Pray the lost come to repentance and salvation.
