Are Dreams Real?
(RePost from 2016) Recently, an online friend has her dog pass away. She stated she had a dream where she went to heaven to see him. She met all her other dogs who passed away and was able to love on them all. Then, she was kicked out and told it wasn’t her time yet.
When, my last two dogs passed away, within four weeks of one another, I also had a dream where I saw them. They came to me and I was able to love on them both. Then, my one dogs growled and I looked over to see a dog dressed in armor. I knew that dog was there to take them away and my dog growled because he didn’t want to go.
This led to question whether all dreams or some dreams are real. People sometimes wake up saying that their dream seemed so real. When we dream, we achieve another plane of consciousness. Is it like spiritually traveling to another place? Who infiltrates our dreams? Does the demonic realm?
God is able to speak to us in our dreams. Demons try to make covenants with us in our dreams or reestablish old ones. These dreams we need to rebuke and sometimes even fast after receiving them. We are given warnings, visions, orders, and wisdom from our Father. Is this another dimensional level that we go to during our dreaming period and it is real? If other dimensional beings can reach us in our dreams, it has to be a place and has to be real.
Genesis 20:3
But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife.

And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
Genesis 31:11
And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here am I.

And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.

In Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee.

Matthew 1:20
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 2:13
And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
