Back Story

Tracy Terry has been employed in the field of marketing since 2004.  Her last corporate position held was Director of Sales and Marketing for a resort management company owning six world-wide hotels, including two with a celebrity name.  This was a fast paced position responsible for hotel openings, events (including celebrity events), marketing plans, budgets, ad copy, radio negotiations, cable television segments, graphic design, conferences, owner/sales/marketing meetings, and travel.  Tracy was head over marketing for all six resorts, including the marketing for the management company, as well as the managing director of the group sales department at each resort.  Her total dream job and she loved every minute of it.  Then, one day she heard a small, still voice say, “Why Aren’t You Marketing Me?”

She knew exactly where that voice came from.  This began the journey of a website and talk of a podcast with her husband, Wayne, and her son, Gage.  Everyone was onboard, but the podcast never came to fruition.  The website did with some blogging, but social media was censoring the posts and WordPress locked her out of her blog, never to be able to get in again.  That was The Terry Translation.  The enemy won that round and the project was scrapped.

Fast forward several years and the project was renewed in 2020. The calling was STRONG in 2019.  After a miraculous healing, recovery from a surgery, and a victorious spiritual battle, Tracy began writing and creating videos on YouTube under the new ministry name “Terry With The Word”.  Her husband Wayne was forced at home due to the pandemic and that allowed the two of them to start podcasting news through a biblical lens as “Terry With The Word On The Street”.

YHWH has brought Tracy and Wayne down the most amazing path, full of blessings, which led to a move across the country.  Once situated and settled, Tracy began building the new ministry website for “Terry With The Word”.  She’s not sure what YHWH has in store for this ministry, but she knows it is going to be for His Glory.
